You know you're getting near that "time" when you have to slyly and secretly suggest "the future" with you significant other.

It's something I always dread. Not because I don't want to get to that stage-I would love to! It's the "STOP BEING CREEPY, BIANCA" responses-I dread.

I'm lucky enough I've found someone where we don't have to pretend like we're destined for each other, we just happen to be two exceptionally good looking people who are on the same path. (Okay. I'm getting cocky now...)

Since I was five I wanted to be a pop star. I have by no means put this dream to the side (I still practice daily in the mirror with my go-to hairbrush) but I know I have to build a steady career first, too. Come December I'll know if I'll attain my current dream of getting into a Chicago college and start my journey of becoming the next media mogul/first female editor-in-chief of Rolling Stone...you know...start small. My boyfriend, (whom I'm not going to pretend is Mr. Perfect. He's such an ass but I love him) also wants to go to Chicago. He has the more humble dream. He plans on tutoring and teaching inner city kids for a year or two then going to a college, or vice versa, whatever fate decides for him. It was not until he was flying back home from a week long family vacation in Cancun that he texted me "Btdubbs, Bionx. I wouldn't mind....living with you. Loveyoubye.

He later denied this, then stated he only said it in case the plane crashed.

Mmhmm.

Me being....well a typical, daydreaming sort of girl-instantly put into play in my mind what my dream apartment would look like. I purposely didn't say our. If he reads this he may break out in hives or something at sight of the possessive noun. Low and behold I found this vacancy.com scholarship that TOTALLY allows me to daydream as much as I want in order to possibly get money for college! Let my mind commence:

The Kitchen:

I love to cook. Bake. Talk to myself as I boil pasta seductively and pretend to be nearly as hot and curvaceous as Nigella Lawson. (The domestic goddess people- I lauve her). I never understood, while watching a many House Hunters marathons with my mother, why the kitchen was such a make or breaker, until I fell in love with the art of making food. The Echelon at K Station Apartments have the most luxurious of kitchens, that include the holy grail of all countertops-granite. Sooold.

The Living Room:

This living room is just begging me to put on my "old" grecian ball gown "just hanging" in my closet and open the door with a half filled wine glass looking flawless and such welcoming my equally as fabulous acquaintances (because fancy people don't have time for friends) into my home. Though since I'm not even eighteen yet, that image would be juxtaposed with my plastic champagne flute filled with strawberry lemonade (No. Not Mike's) and a dress from the Clearance rack at H&M. Back to reality. I would love to have a bohemian, almost mediterranean living space, for me to lay around, have room to push couches against the walls for my daily Britney Spears Slave 4 U routine workout, mixed with a little bit of vintage antiqueness-for the boy. A bookcase in a corner filled with his library of Neitzche, Hemingway, James Joyce, Stephanie Meyer...ohhh did I just say that out loud?

The Little Things:

More than anything, the Echelon apartments give me OPTIONS. To create whatever I want in my own little space...to be able to cook homemade pizza on Saturdays, bake a late night chocolate cake just for me on a bad day, concoct with whatever's in the pantry with the boy...anyday. To come home to the calmest of energies...a place where I can create, think, be inspired...love. Whether I'm on my own or with someone I love, I'm going to need a space that can mold into a second part of me.

One Day

Reading one of my daily blogs (Coco's Tea Party) I came across the trailer for this movie. I remember seeing the poster somewhere or another and hearing about it but I never took the time to see what it was really about. Let me tell you, just looking at the trailer made me cry.

The story isn't completely cliche, the characters seem REAL, and (don't tell my boyfriend this) but I saw some similarities between the film's major relationship and my own. More than a few actually.

I HAVE to see this.

The Best Day of My Life

June 22nd, 2011. I saw my queen.

I have so few pictures because my camera's USB chord enjoys driving my insane by refusing to upload the 100+ pictures I took from that night, so these are from my sister's camera.

Nicki Minaj lacked stage presence, which is why I didn't bother putting any pictures of her up. I really like her rap style and whole persona she's got going on (Less trashy then Lil' Kim even though I'm still a fan!) but even the stage was bigger than her butt.

Britney, in all her 5'4 glory however OWNED that arena. The best moments were the exact beginning, middle, and end of the show. (Hold It Against Me, He About to Lose Me, and Till the World Ends)

TTWE was an experience alll on it's own. EVERY person was up out of their seats, dancing, jumping, singing (more like screaming) along and in absolute amazement when Brit grew her wings and FLEW.

My only complaint was that my seats were great for seeing the entire stage, but I couldnt physically make out her face features from my seat which made me think I was in a dream, was that really her on stage? Why can't I see those pretty brown eyes!?

I'm already saving up for front row tickets for next time :)

Pretty Little Summer

I know, I know! It's been over a MONTH since I last blogged! My month of May was PACKED with activities, almost all AP English related. But it is now SUMMER!!

What things am I looking forward to most this summer?

-Pretty Little Liars

-Britney Concert

-No AP English

I follow the PLL actresses on Twitter and I LOVE the photos they tweet. Yeah. They truly are that pretty.

I would be lying if I said my summer was "freakin fantastic" or off to an amazing start or what not. It's just been eh. The highlights have beent the few days I've been able to fit in with my beau :)

Speaking of him tomorrow we're having a little picnic that I will be SURE to document for you all. It's only fair!!

I decided to post the PLL pics because one, they're gorgeous, and two I am TOO excited for the premiere in a few weeks! I don't know what I would have done if I had to wait all the way until the fall for new episodes.

I'm hopefully having a little Pretty Little Liar party with the girls too, dressing up required and cupcakes and candy galore!

I'm going to make the best out of this summer.

Junior Prom

Photos are a little out of order but I'm too tired to care!
Last night was my junior prom and it went over my expectations!
We had a limo, feasted at PF Changs (have you tried the shot glass desserts? SO good!) and danced until the world ends. (The DJ however sucked. No Britney was played whatsoever and they only bit of pop music we got was some Kesha. That was it).
And my boyfriend looked so studly and dapper and ACTUALLY DANCED.
I couldn't have asked for more.
My dress was a few seasons old BCBG that my sister handed down to me. No shame in wearing designer hand me downs in my opinion!
Next week I have AP tests galore for the next two weeks. I can make it...I can make it through...
After these two weeks school shall be a breeze...

Coachella Couture

A handful of my favorite looks from this years Coachella festival. I officially want to hit the nearest thrift store and start dressing like a hippie.

My favorite has to be Alessandra Ambrosio's-effortless.

Since I hit the big 1-8 next year I am so going on a road trip to Palm Springs-it seems like an unforgettable musical experience, and one that will never be lost in one's memory.

Me and the Girl Crush

I went to Kohl's to assist my best friend in finding a "special shirt" yesterday and I just HAD to take a picture with V!

I posted this picture on my facebook and got a bunch of "She's a bad role model!" comments-well I never said that she was a good one. I am NOT condoning sexting people but she's still a talented young woman with EXCELLENT fashion sense. You guys know how I stalk her style. (My style here is quite poor-it was a last minute trip and I had worn sweats to school that day!)

This past week has been crazy emotionally. There have been fights with dear close friends, making up with one of them, and really being there for my boyfriend in a way I haven't before.

I've learned this week that it's OKAY to be focused. To be driven. To focus on yourself.

What's most important at the end of the day? That YOU, yourself, are happy. Because at the end of the day you are the only person taking care of yourself. And I am genuinely really happy right now in my life.

Last night me and the novio went to this little hippie (I refuse to say hipSTER. So cliche.) bookstore and at the last minute (after being in the bookstore for hours) found that an oollld school music and record shop was right next door. Needless to say we'll be going again. I fell in love with the chill and easy going vibe of the city of Tempe yesterday. Plus they had a Marilyn Monroe poster with my name on it.

I saw Sucker Punch last night and LOVED it! I am truly not a fan of action movies but SP was able to really hold my attention. I wasn't aware of the storyline before so it was so nice to be able to really experience a whole new story, a whole new world (unlike so many book to movie adaptions nowadays)

Being the girly girl I am I couldn't take my eyes of the costumes and makeup for this movie.

SO MUCH GLITTER!

And even though the movie may seem sexist to some at a first glance, at the end it's all about women defending themselves, being independent, and refusing to be the "girls" everyone else wants them to be.
