Quote of the Month: July

Photobucket

To hold me over until GG starts again...

Admit it. You are beyond obsessed with Pretty Little Liars just like I am. It reminds me a lot of Gossip Girl (with all the text messages) and Desperate Housewives with all the murders and mysteries going on. I am beyond obsessed with not just the storylines but the clothes!(And Mr. Fitz. Ohhh Mr. Fitz.) Aria is my favorite fashionista so far (played by Lucy Hale). Her style is very edgy but with girly and European twists. Her style by far exceeds the rest of the little liars. Between Britney's new line, Madonna's new line, and my new fashion influences from the Pretty Little Liars gang? I am beyond ready to look chic for back to school. But not just yet. I still have a good month of summer left.

V-Hudge for Glamour

Remember that Glamour cover of Vanessa Hudgens I posted not too long ago? Well the inside shots have just arrived and I like! Lots of denim and leather which I hope to be wearing lots of come the fall. I'm kinda drooling over those thigh high boots. I truly do like Vanessa. Even if she is dating my boyfriend. (One of my MANY boyfriends.) I hope Hollywood treats her kind cause I think she can surprise us along the way with her acting.

Eclipse!

It's Eclipse weekend baby! And I started my festivities off right! (Excuse the pictures for being in chronilogically backwards order-still working on trying to remember that) My best friend Kirin since the start of the Twilight movies has always made signs and held them out on the corner of the street saying "Honk if you love Twilight!" and living in Arizona-the home of Stephanie Meyer (which can kinda be bad thing don't get me wrong!) she would get a lot of honks. It was easier in the past years with Twilight and New Moon being released in November where the Arizona weather is beautiful. Late June however? Not so much. It was my first time holding signs out with her and it was fun! Definately be doing it again next time. That same day we continued another Twilight tradition-Cullen cookies! Once again, the Twilight Saga movies being released in the holiday season-gingerbread cookies decorated as vampires and werewolves made a lot more sense. In the summer? They still tasted just as good. And then finally! The wait for the midnight premiere! It was our first Twilight midnight premiere since the earlier movies always came out on a school week. Once again-I wish it hadn't been the summer. We were waiting outside in the Arizona 114 degree weather for 14 hours, and then another additional 4 hours waiting inside the theater. We did make some new friends! (Shout out to Nicole, Alyssa, Ashley and Ashley if you stumble upon my little blog!) and had great conversations while melting in the sun. There was also a dear woman who went and got me a lawn chair to sit on while she waited inside for a seperate line. That's Twilight fans everyone! Caring and sweet to all! Now for my movie review? Just go see it. It's amazing! The highlights:
-Riley/Xavier Samuels in the whole entire movie. He played that role WELL.
-The first scene with Edward and Bella. Was it those flowers!? The green grass? his shirt!? I don't know but Boyfriend looked GOOD in that shot. And so irresistable.
-Kristen Stewart's acting has improved LOTS. Thank God.
-Taylor Lautner as Jacob. Sometimes he would be so annoying and so jerky but that's what the character of Jake is supposed to be!! Therefore he did GREAT. Man he looks like a good kisser.
I promise it's worth the 7-10 bucks at the theater. It's a shame the next movies won't be nearly as good. Why? Well have you READ Breaking Dawn!? Enough said. So until then? I'll be enjoying Eclipse :)

Britney 4 Candies!!!!

It's allll heeerreeee! How gorgeous does she look in these promo shots?! and I LOVE the commercial! Sure, I'm not dumb, I know she had some help in the designing department but even though Brit's style can be questionable and out there at times that's what makes Britney-Britney! I can completely see her wearing the leggings and the metallic trench coat and all the fedoras! The line is pricier-it IS Candie's after all but I well be getting my back to school clothes all from the Britney line this year! My favorite looks? The pale pink layered tunic, the metallic trench, studded vest, AND THE SHOES. Heck- I LOVE EVERYTHING. Congrats Brit on making a GORGEOUS collection!

Right now we're about to go back...back in the day

Back to when Jemi was still alive and well. (HA. I knew it wouldn't last no offense. Love them both but this is Joe Jonas we're talking about. That boy needs to be tamed (Unlike Miley.) I did love the pictures that came out of their photo shoot however. The Bridgitted Bardot hair looks great on Demi and how many of you are getting a James Dean feel from the way Joe was styled? I am! And I like it! (This boy can do no wrong when it comes to his hair. NO wrong. He always looks good)I was excited to read in the interview Joe is working on a solo album-FINALLY! His voice was always my favorite out of the trio. I'll be watching Camp Rock come September only because of my love for Joe and all things Jonas. (They beat Justin Beiber ANY DAY) Oh but...back to the fashion! I'm lusting over that dress Demi is wearing in the first shot. Must have!
P.S They couldn't put any eyeliner on Demi to you know make the look authentic?

Style Star of the Moment-Bill Kaulitz

Why hasn't this boy had the cover of Vogue yet!? I mean really! I've been a Tokio Hotel fan for about three years now, my love for them reemerging however with the release of their latest album Humanoid. Their style of rock has always been so different from the rest- I can't even describe it. But they own it and even though they're still kind of hush hush in America they are crazy big in the rest of the world. I am crossing my fingers for an America Tour. I'm also crossing my fingers for a future collaboration with me! When I get a recording contract and such...(which will be sooner than later trust me!) So for now...enjoy the beauty and fashion sense of Bill Kaultiz!
