I went to Kohl's to assist my best friend in finding a "special shirt" yesterday and I just HAD to take a picture with V!I posted this picture on my facebook and got a bunch of "She's a bad role model!" comments-well I never said that she was a good one. I am NOT condoning sexting people but she's still a talented young woman with EXCELLENT fashion sense. You guys know how I stalk her style. (My style here is quite poor-it was a last minute trip and I had worn sweats to school that day!)
This past week has been crazy emotionally. There have been fights with dear close friends, making up with one of them, and really being there for my boyfriend in a way I haven't before.
I've learned this week that it's OKAY to be focused. To be driven. To focus on yourself.
What's most important at the end of the day? That YOU, yourself, are happy. Because at the end of the day you are the only person taking care of yourself. And I am genuinely really happy right now in my life.
Last night me and the novio went to this little hippie (I refuse to say hipSTER. So cliche.) bookstore and at the last minute (after being in the bookstore for hours) found that an oollld school music and record shop was right next door. Needless to say we'll be going again. I fell in love with the chill and easy going vibe of the city of Tempe yesterday. Plus they had a Marilyn Monroe poster with my name on it.
