Eclipse!

It's Eclipse weekend baby! And I started my festivities off right! (Excuse the pictures for being in chronilogically backwards order-still working on trying to remember that) My best friend Kirin since the start of the Twilight movies has always made signs and held them out on the corner of the street saying "Honk if you love Twilight!" and living in Arizona-the home of Stephanie Meyer (which can kinda be bad thing don't get me wrong!) she would get a lot of honks. It was easier in the past years with Twilight and New Moon being released in November where the Arizona weather is beautiful. Late June however? Not so much. It was my first time holding signs out with her and it was fun! Definately be doing it again next time. That same day we continued another Twilight tradition-Cullen cookies! Once again, the Twilight Saga movies being released in the holiday season-gingerbread cookies decorated as vampires and werewolves made a lot more sense. In the summer? They still tasted just as good. And then finally! The wait for the midnight premiere! It was our first Twilight midnight premiere since the earlier movies always came out on a school week. Once again-I wish it hadn't been the summer. We were waiting outside in the Arizona 114 degree weather for 14 hours, and then another additional 4 hours waiting inside the theater. We did make some new friends! (Shout out to Nicole, Alyssa, Ashley and Ashley if you stumble upon my little blog!) and had great conversations while melting in the sun. There was also a dear woman who went and got me a lawn chair to sit on while she waited inside for a seperate line. That's Twilight fans everyone! Caring and sweet to all! Now for my movie review? Just go see it. It's amazing! The highlights:
-Riley/Xavier Samuels in the whole entire movie. He played that role WELL.
-The first scene with Edward and Bella. Was it those flowers!? The green grass? his shirt!? I don't know but Boyfriend looked GOOD in that shot. And so irresistable.
-Kristen Stewart's acting has improved LOTS. Thank God.
-Taylor Lautner as Jacob. Sometimes he would be so annoying and so jerky but that's what the character of Jake is supposed to be!! Therefore he did GREAT. Man he looks like a good kisser.
I promise it's worth the 7-10 bucks at the theater. It's a shame the next movies won't be nearly as good. Why? Well have you READ Breaking Dawn!? Enough said. So until then? I'll be enjoying Eclipse :)
