My New Obsession

I have always had a love for British things. Fish and chips (or really...I like fish and french fries). Their accents. Their flag. (I just dont know what it about the Union Jack...Why can't our flag be that stylish? Do you see the American Flag on fashionable clothes? Psh. No.) but I have always loved Brits' sense of humor. People say Britney was on the brink of craziness when she started speaking in a britsh accent and saying she wanted to be British. The girl wasnt crazy! She was just like me and loves the British way of life. The first week of January Nickelodeon premiered Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging (Based on the Georgia Nicholson Series, the first book being Angus, Thongs, and Full Frontal Snogging-gotta keep it semi clean for the kiddies.) I knew from the first five minutes I was going to love this movie. Even when I read the book series years and years ago I related to Georgia SO much. When I was watching the DVD with mom even she said "My God this girl is you!" and if Georgia is me, she must be a lot of other girls too because I know a lot of girls that love this movie. Now let's talk about the sex god of all sex gods-Aaron Johnson. I fell HEAD OVER HEELS for this boy the sexond he appeared on the screen. Not because...well he's gorgeous...but because a year ago when I wrote my first novel, Facade (unpublished unfortunately) I could never find an actor that perfectly portrayed my character physically. DING DING DING. Aaron is our winner. I have this weird little writer's obsession with him because he looks like my 'Kasey'. One day, when Facade is published and a bestseller and movie companies are hunting me down to sign contracts to produce it into a movie I'll ask for two things.

1. Cast Aaron Johnson as Kasey.

2. Cast me as the main character and love interest so I can make out with this beauty.

I sense a bright future for Aaron. Hopefully if he leaves his 42 year old fiance who is impregenated with their child. Ya. Not kidding unfortunately. My mom said it wont last though because he's too cute :) I completely agree.

If you havent seen Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging yet my GOD GO SEE IT. It just came out on DVD and I'm telling you it's worth it. Like a teenaged Bridget Jones.
